Well you’ve come to the right place.
We’re not a crusty old general store with some rusty mountain bikes outside it, we’re a young, dynamic, fun company that loves cycling, wine, the ocean, beach, rivers, peaks, fields, orchards, long lunches, and of course sunny days and friends to enjoy them.
Our business is providing experiences. Our kick-ass bikes and awesome location help us do this.
Our bikes
We have classic beach cruiser bikes from California. They have wide comfortable seats, swept back handlebars, baskets, bells, and oversize tires….perfect for relaxed cycling.
Guarantees:
No Wedgie: All our bikes come with a No Wedgie guarantee. If our bike seats wedgie you we will refund your money.
No Hills: Our Coastal Dash has a No Hills guarantee.
No Backtracking: Our Coast & River Loop has a no backtracking guarantee for the intrepid explorers that don’t want to see the same things twice.
Routes
Coastal Dash
Straight into it. Out our door, around the corner and into the cellar doors. Cycle up the coastal pathway calling into the various wineries and café. Very easy cycling, and a very easy way to use an afternoon.
The Coast & River Loop
This is our favourite. Start along the coastal pathway, through the seaside village of Haumoana, check out the Tukituki lagoon with its surfers and fishermen, then up the Tukituki River, past the vineyards, orchards, farms, and then into the back of Te Awanga for some serious lunching.
If you want to go your own way, no problem we’ll give you a map and a pat on the back.
Cost:
$40. Includes helmet, water, and map. You can pick up the bikes from 10:30am, and return them before dark.
Please note we're open this Easter, however on Friday only Elephant Hill Winery are open, and they are selling wine for onsite consumption only.
